Using a packer with a changeable mortar hose, applying ERGELIT-KBi or Kanaltec iS is even easier. Thanks to its thixotropy, ERGELIT-KBi is the ideal injection mortar. It stabilises the damaged pipe and fills every accessible cavity to restore the static bearing strength.

ERGELIT-KBi can be injected in order to produce a complete and durable seal in shafts and man-entry drainage pipes. ERGELIT-KBi will not be washed away by heavy groundwater flow.

The pressurised repointing of masonry joints with ERGELIT-KBi extends the life of old brick-built constructions. The joints are cleaned out and then filled via a pressure-fed lance with corrosion-resistant ERGELIT-KBi to give a watertight, durable repair.

With ERGELIT-KBi a complete, permanent, watertight repair can be made in house connections smaller than 150 mm ( 6” ). ERGELIT-KBi penetrates into all cavities, holes, fissures and open joints, not only filling them but providing load-bearing strength as well.

Reprofiling process

ERGELIT-KBi can be used to reprofile the entire cross-section of a pipe. The concrete substitute is pumped under pressure into every part of the pipe. A special packer serves as a pressure chamber which is continuously supplied via hoses with ERGELIT-KBi.
